The quirky British humor that was the trademark of the Monty Python comedy team is gloriously resplendent in "Monty Python's Spamalot," the musical that makes hash of Camelot. It is heralded as being "ripped off" from the 1975 motion picture "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and splashes over with the low and high comedy made famous by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. The Monty Python imprint is emblazoned on the musical, with book and lyrics by Idle and music by Idle and John Du Prez.
